What does reserve actually do?

Post by Mr.prowler » Sat Jan 11, 2020 3:22 am

Under the deployment section of every scenario I could find in the v2 book all units begin in either readiness or direct deployment. If this is the case, then the aerial advantage rule doesn't do anything yet, and fast movers can turn 1 snipe dropships before they even get to drop? Or am I missing something here?

If not in a dropship units are in reserve, unless the mission allows direct deployment.

As to fastmovers... don't know to be honest...

So aerial advantage DOES take effect regardless of deployment type? Good to know.
