2000 pt Resistance Fleet

So, been sick the last week with nothing much better to do than watch loads of sci-fi and look at the mound of unbuilt Resistance cruisers piling up after getting quite a few starters to have uniform frigates for my Kalium fleet. So, I decided to start building a more crazier Reaver-style Fleet on the side and have been wanting to test this out before dedicating to putting ships together.

Notes:
- I know 1500 pts tends to be the norm for this game, but we've just generally done 2000 instead in our group since we haven't ever had the ability to run a tournament.
- I wanted this fleet to be pretty different from my Kalium fleet, which utilizes Grand Cruisers mainly for the heavy slots to be the roving bunkers and Heavy Frigates instead of regular ones. I know Heavy Cruisers on the whole are not as great compared to Centurions, but I figured I'd try them out.
- I wanted to emphasize speed over durability and to try something really divergent with utilizing Drive Refits more to see how playing aggressive will go to achieve a similar style closer to Scourge. I know it's not probably going to be very competitive, but this is being built more for fun anyways.
- Originally I was going to use Gladiators for the first Vanguard BG given the propensity for Vent Cannons, but the 4 inch scan just seems to be too prohibitive for something that relies on scald so I am going to play to the one strength of a Heavy Cruiser which is the ability to get a higher scan and see how it goes.
- The Pungari Thresher is one of the things that gave me the idea for this fleet to use something to represent crazy boarders on enemy ships (and their stats seem pretty close to a Resistance-style ship anyways with exception of Reinforced Armor), so I plan to build a couple of larger colony ships to do a 'counts as' representation.
- This is going to be the first list I run without Fighter support. Not sure how well that is going to work.
- For the two groups of Light Cruisers - I couldn't decide between double Fire Ship launch bays or one and a Vent Cannon to give it some offensive capability outside the Assets Phase. So, I am going to try both and see how well they work. The plan is for the Vent Cannon Frigates to be in front to try to help screen their incoming assault.
